Hurricane Dorian Update & Disaster Recovery

bahama devastation disaster relief

By now you have heard of the devastation following 48 plus hours of Cat 5 Dorian lashing the Bahamas. It is unfathomable. Stories are just now emerging. The needs are staggering.

CitiIMPACT has secured space on barges which will begin departing as early as this Saturday. We have room for 40 shipping containers per barge.  Please join us in getting life saving supplies to the islands. GIVE NOW.  Remember through our vast coalition of partners, we are able to stretch your donation dollars at least 100 times what the street value of buying such product would cost.

Items shipping and still in need of more in bulk/palletized semi loads are:

  • Water Filtration Units
  • Tents and Tarps
  • Non perishable food
  • Hygiene and Baby items
  • Ready made meals like our Meal MANIA packs – 1 shipping container (250K meals) is already scheduled.  Will need funding for further shipments.

Even as we respond to the Bahamas we have our eyes on the likely flooding in the Carolinas.  Staging is in place for Charleston, SC specifically.  If in that area,  and your church community is able to serve or needs assistance as it progresses please get in touch with us. Our philosophy is always to equip the local church to lead the way in serving their own community.

Thank you for doing your part to Bridge Hope to those in their darkest hour. Together we can do the most.
2 Cor 9:10-12
