Just across the US border from WA, our neighbors in CANADA have suffered extensive loss due to unprecedented flooding. Homes and businesses are gone. Roads are washed away leaving entire towns cut off, farmlands are destroyed including thousands of cattle, chickens, and horses. CitiIMPACT has secured relief supplies to help the many farmers and homeowners as they begin to assess the damages. Please reach across the border with us. We are shipping to a ministry partner in Abbotsford who will shuttle to hardest hit areas.
Thanks Across the Board
It goes without saying that the last two years have been trying across the board, as a nonprofit we are not exempt. Donations are down 90% while the needs are up by about the same due to natural disasters and the storms of life. Yet, we are so thankful that God has provided for us personally and for the ministry to miraculously continue to serve those in disasters, in Liberia, and through Building HOPE. We are thankful for each of you who have given hope, served your neighbors, shared a hug, reached out even in your own pain and especially those who prayed for us, for each other, for our nation, for the lost, and for the lonely. We are thankful for those who didn’t let this storm make them become bitter, distant, and fearful but who dug deep to grow better, closer, and stronger in their faith. We give thanks that our God is way bigger than this storm! We pray you each are able to share a beautiful time of Thanksgiving with your loved ones and rest in His promises. 1 Thes. 5:18
