Venezuela: A tragedy of historic proportions that is yet to be fully assessed. Two massive earthquakes have left much of the areas around Caracas in rubble. Nearly 5,000 have been confirmed killed and estimates suggest 50,000 are still missing. CitiIMPACT is collaborating with Venezuelan ministries and other responding organizations to deploy qualified teams that are distributing aid, serving hot meals, and even assisting with rescue and recovery. We are thankful for the churches and ministry partners who have given generously already, allowing us to send our first shipment of aid.
