Preparing NOW for Hurricane IDA

Hurricane Ida is expected to make landfall as a major Cat 4 hurricane with up to 20 inches of rain and 15 foot storm surge. Many locals are comparing Ida to Hurricane Katrina (even landfall is expected on the 16 year anniversary) and not taking chances. “Here we go again.” was a text we received from a family CitiIMPACT served in Katrina. They barely survived by clinging to their roof. Thankfully, this time – they are evacuating.

CitiIMPACT has many partners both in harm’s way and within striking distance to serve and distribute. Our cooking teams, supplies, and first responders are ready. Are you?

Your prayers and support are critical.
