Major Haiti Earthquake

Major Haiti Earthquake, August 2021

A large 7.2 Earthquake struck off the coast of Haiti this morning. Casualties are expected to be high and infrastructure damage is extensive (as shown in chart below).

CitiIMPACT served Haiti following the 2010 earthquake, with your help we intend to do so again. Through our international partners, we’ve already secured multiple shipping containers full of supplies that are urgently needed and have viable methods to get them there safely. You can help with the funding to cover shipping and of course with your prayers.

Update 8/15 – The death toll has now surpassed 700.
