CitiIMPACT

34 Semi Loads and Fed 38,000 meals!

Field Report: South Carolina Flooding

CitiIMPACT, through your partnership and others nationally, has been honored to coordinate 34 semi loads of supplies and feed 38,000 hot meals over the past 12 days throughout SC.  Wow!  That is a lot of water, Gatorade, diapers, and hygiene

products, not to mention a whole lot of BBQ sandwiches!  The cooking teams and volunteers are now shuttling meals up to 1.5 hours from the site because communities in desperate need.  One area near Andrews, SC had school for the first time in a week on Wed.  Many of the children hadn’t eaten in days.  We quickly mobilized to get them fed.

Through strategic local collaboration CitiIMPACT is helping to lead the way in developing LTR (Long Term Recovery) groups in both Columbia and Charleston, ready to assess homes and deploy work teams for clean-up, repair, and rebuild.

Every donated dollar is multiplied at least 20 times through our collaborative partnerships and national donors.  Please DONATE NOW.

We are ready for teams!   4 or more people for 3 or more days, now through at least July.  Sign up here.
