CitiIMPACT Responds to Hurricane Florence

CitiIMPACT continues to serve the areas of North and South Carolina devastated by Florence. Relief and building supplies continue to be distributed. Recently we shipped a flatbed truck of roofing shingles to Longs, SC that will provide roofs for 8 to 10 houses!

Teams are still needed at our partner site near Whiteville, NC.

An Update and Thank You from One of Our Church Partners

GIVE towards the GOODS:

We depend on you to get the trucks on the road. The need for food, paper products, hygiene items, water, and cleaning supplies is massive. CitiIMPACT multiplies your donated dollars. A semi contains roughly $150,000 worth of supplies and costs us an average of $10,000 including shipping. Partner with us to get relief to those that need it. So far, 15 semi loads have been shipped into these zones. Thank you!Partner with us to get relief to those that need it.

Stories from Florence

Lives that have been touched by the supplies and help sent

A local motel offered to house 150 people free of charge who had been evacuated from their homes due to hurricane/flooding. We gathered up supplies that came from CitiIMPACT and took to them and also cooked them hot meals. We also were able to secure a refrigerator truck for them to use to keep cold items from going bad which I believe they are still using over a week later.
This lady broke down crying telling us about her home flooding while she was picking up supplies. JoJo, a team volunteer, jumped up on the counter to hug her and pray with her.
Kevin and his wife, Jen, suffered significant loss to their home in Wilmington due to Hurricane Florence. With two young children, the days have been long. This incredible family is traveling back and forth from Goldsboro daily to try and restore their home to livable conditions. Yesterday, we were able to help demo the home so that rebuilding can begin. Thank you church for your compassion and heart to serve others.
Our church became an evacuation center for a local nursing center. The supplies from CitiIMPACT were extremely critical.
