Maria is a feisty 75 years old Veteran. She lived in Galveston all her life and her Dad built the house in 1944. The house was completely flooded in Ike. An IMPACT team from Greensboro, NC worked on her flooring and plumbing in May 2009. Maria was so grateful and sweet. She brought the team lunch everyday. She hopes to finally come home again by summer 2009.
